Carriage charges - UK Customers

Shipping charges are shown at the check out and start from £4.99

If you spend over £70.00 inclusive of VAT on goods after any promotional discount, you will be offered a 'free shipping' option at the check out which must be selected at the time of order. If a customer fails to select the free shipping option at the time of order carriage charges are payble on the order.

We only delivery goods to UK destinations with a valid UK post code.
(sorry, we do not ship our products to the Channel Islands, JE and GY post codes, or BFPO)

Click & Collect orders
Once your order is ready for collection, we will email you notifying you your order is ready for collection. Once we have notified you that your order is ready, you may collect between 9.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, normal working days from our offices in Cuffley. As a guideline only, orders are usually ready within 2-3 hours, during normal opening times from time of ordering. You will need to bring proof of your order when you collect.

Despatch of goods - for delivery
Goods are normally despatched on the same day if ordered before 12pm on a normal working day (this does not include Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays) subject to stock availability. Orders received after 12pm are usually despatched the next working day. If we are very busy despatching goods on any given day your order may be despatched on the following working day. If we are unable to despatch your order with 3 working days we will contact you by email to advise you of any delay.

Delivery of order
Orders are sent using:
Royal Mail Second Class - this is ususally a 2-4 working day deliveryservice.
Royal Mail First Class - this is usually a 1 - 2 working day delivery service.
Courier Service - this is usually a 1-2 working day service.

Claims for non delivery, delays and damages are subject to the published terms and conditions of the relevant shipping agent.

We send the goods to the delivery address you provide on the order. The shipping label is created using the information you supply us. Please ensure you check the accuracy of the delivery details you provide before confirming the order. Once the order has been despatched we are unable to make any changes to the delivery address details. Your email address and mobile telphone number, that you provide to us on the order, will be used by our delivery agent to update you of the delivery.

If our delivery agent is unable to deliver goods to the supplied address, goods will be returned to us. Additional charges will become payable if we have to resend the order to you after a previously failed delivery cycle.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland
All orders to Northern Ireland are accepted and processed subject to this specific and explicit clause - All orders shipped to Northern Ireland are processed and despatched on the basis of DDU terms, this means 'Delivered, Duty Unpaid'. Any duties, taxes or other costs payable within Northern Ireland are the sole resoponsibilty of the customer. If a Northern Ireland based customer rejects a delivery and the consignment is returned to us at Blue Jigsaw Ltd the customer will bear the responsibilty of all shipping, administration, duty and tax charges before a refund is made, this includes the original shipping charges and the return shippings costs along with any handling charges incurred by our delivery agents.

Returns

We operate different returns policies on this website for different products. Each product listing will clearly show the returns policy relating to the product. If you are in any doubt about the conditions of sale of any product please contact the sales office before making a purchase:

Standard Returns - We will provide a full credit or replacement for unused and unmarked goods that are not to specification excluding the original carriage charge. You have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery and within 14 days after the day of receiving your goods. In the event of you cancelling your order within the time frame mentioned above, you will be responsible for the cost of returning your goods to us; goods must be returned in a saleable condition with their original packaging. After fourteen days the sale is considered closed and we will not make a refund. If you decide to cancel your order under the Distance Selling Regulations you must provide written notification to us within the above mentioned timescale by e-mail - we will then provide you with a returns number and a date by which the goods must be received by. Goods received after the given date will be subject to a 30% re-stocking charge. Unless you have cancelled your order in writing please do not return goods. When returning goods we recommend the use of a 'signed for' carriage service. Items lost in transit back to us are your responsibility.

Special Order - This returns policy applies to products that we have to order in specifically from the manufacturer for your order. Once you have placed your order it may not be cancelled, and no return of goods or order cancellation will be accepted.

Cut Piece Order - This returns policy applies to orders where we have to convert standard stock items to produce your goods. Once the conversion process of the stock has started the order cannot be cancelled and we will not make a refund. We will make a refund on a product if there is a manufacturing defect.

Carriage will become payable on 'free delivery orders', at the prevailing rate of carriage, on orders when a customer returns part of their order if the retained goods fall below our carriage paid spend level. Carriage charges will be deducted from any refund due to the customer.

Goods returned to us which are not resolved within a 12 month period will be discarded.

Shortages/damages/non delivery of goods
Complaints regarding shortages in consignments and damage to goods must be notified by e-mail within 3 calendar days from receipt of goods, otherwise we cannot accept responsibility. Non delivery of goods must be notified in writing to us, by the customer, within 7 calendar days of the invoice date or the date of despatch from us.
